摘要: In this talk, we present our recent studies on the stability of viscous shocks to Burgers equations with fast diffusion and singularity. When the constant state u+=0, Burgers equations possess a strong singularity due to the fast diffusion in porous media. In order to overcome this singularity, we adopt the technical weighted-energy method, where the weights are carefully selected, which are related to the viscous shocks. A number of numerical simulations are also carried out, which show that the shape of solution becomes steeper as the effect of fast diffusion is more strong.  


报告人: 梅茗,加拿大McGill大学及Champlain学院教授,博士导师。日本金泽大学合作教授,吉林省“长白山学者“讲座教授,东北师范大学“东师学者”讲座教授。主要从事流体力学中偏微分方程和生物数学中带时滞反应扩散方程研究,在Archive Rational Math. Mech., SIAM J. Math. Anal., J. Differential Equations, Commun. PDEs 等学术刊物上公开发表论文110多篇,是SIAM J. Math. Anal. 及 J. Diff. Equa. 的top author,同时也是5家SCI国际数学杂志的编委。并一直承担加拿大自然科学基金项目,魁北克省自然科学基金项目,及魁北克省大专院校国际局的基金项目。
