报告题目：Common index jump theorem and periodic orbits

报告摘要：In this talk, I will introduce two kinds of periodic orbit problems, i.e., closed geodesics on manifolds and closed characteristics on hypersurfaces in $R^{2n}$. And I will simply explain the role of common index jump theorem in doing with these problems as well.

报告人简介：段华贵，教授，博导，南开大学数学科学学院副院长，“核心数学与组合数学”教育部重点实验室副主任，天津市数学会秘书长，“南开大学百名青年学科带头人培养计划”入选者。主要研究方向为非线性分析与动力系统，近年来在微分几何中的闭测地线与哈密顿系统的周期轨道等方面取得系统性的研究成果，论文发表在《J. Diff. Geom.》，《Adv. Math.》，《J. Funct. Anal.》，《J. Diff. Equ.》，《Calc. Var. & PDE》等国际学术期刊上。
