报告摘要:

We consider a type of nonlinear elliptic equation with critical exponent and a bounded potential. By combining a finite reduction argument and local Pohozaev type of identities, we prove that if the function related to the potential has a stable critical point, then the problem has infinitely many solutions. We overcome the difficulty appearing in using the standard reduction method to locate the concentrating points of the solutions.

报告人简介：彭双阶，华中师范大学党委常委、副校长，教授、博士生导师。国务院政府特殊津贴专家、国家杰出青年科学基金获得者，教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”、湖北省重大人才工程“高端人才引领培养计划”入选者。从事非线性偏微分方程、非线性泛函分析、奇异摄动理论等研究，在非线性偏微分方程、非线性泛函分析领域有很高的科研成就。在《Indiana Univ. Math. J.》，《Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal.》，《Adv. Math.》，《Math. Ann.》，《J. Funct. Anal.》等期刊发表了一系列具有很高学术价值的研究成果。科研成果获得教育部自然科学奖二等奖和湖北省自然科学奖一等奖。国际数学期刊《Comm. Pure Appl. Anal.》、《Journal of Scientific Research and Report》编委、《数学物理学报》（中、英文版）常务编委、《应用数学学报》编委，《应用数学》编委。
